Oh yes! Soon it will be Christmas. And I've almost never waited this desperately any other year before.
This week I had my last class and can now start to put my office a little in order and
stroll over the Christmas market, where I'll buy vanilla cream waffles, which I loved
as a child, and candy apples, which my parents would never buy me.
That nothing happened this year is a thing I really cannot complain about.
Already in January Lutz took me spontaneously to London for a weekend, where I finally met
my old internet buddy Rusty for the first time ever.
Also since the beginning of the year I am officially registered with the revenue office
and can now be booked as a voice coach. After all I already showed my first clients
the way to proper pronunciation and expressive articulation. And another premier:
my debut as a teacher in front of university students. A role that costs an enormous
amount of time, but which I thoroughly enjoy. From both experiences I know
that I am good at teaching and that I also want to pursue it further, but as well that
in the long run my place is not at university.
In private matters, I also discovered two essential things. Firstly, that my boyfriend
isn't my boyfriend anymore, which is quite okay and maybe even for the better.
Secondly, how incredibly extraordinary the people are, who I call my friends,
of whom I wouldn't trade anyone, and also that to my personal astonishment you can
get along with hetties after all.
And since that is so, I will let it rip with a bunch of those friends in London
for New Year. You find the best blokes in England anyway.
In this sense, love you all, enjoy the holidays and vi ses i nytt år!
